SpaclubSeattle is based on the OS Commerce Open Source shopping cart system. OsCommerce is a PHP and mySQL shopping cart application with many advanced features, including the ability to edit unlimited categories, products, manufacturers, and customers; dynamic product attributes, advanced reporting features, a built in mailing list, and multiple curency support.

Our customization of OScommerce overcame its inherent design limitations and produced a site that well represents the Spa Club Seattle brand – soft, soothing, upscale, and elegant.

Brentwood Skin is a private, Los Angeles skin-care studio that offers personalized services, not often found at bigger salons. Celebrity clients include Kate Beckinsale, Traci Bingham, Neve Campbell, Ted Danson, Julie Hagerty, and Sugar Ray Leonard. Who ever said that ex-boxers don't require deep cleansing or exfoliation? Surely, not us!

We built a tasteful, elegant website, featuring a modern, organic color palette. Brentwood Skin is a simple site, but one that fulfils its purpose of providing information, communicating the promise of the brand, and acting as an effective marketing tool to cultivate new business.

Wellmed's ecommerce website offers herbal and natural-health products to an older demographic. Users are drawn to the site by a free offer, after which they're tracked by IP number, cookies, and other methods – to prevent abuses of the promotion.

Ecommerce features include recurring monthly billing (no need to reorder), personalization features (different users see different content), a browser-based CMS, and full integration of UPS Online Tools. The new Wellmed site is an extension of their direct mail business and has proven to be an extremely profitable sales channel.

Teacup Software is an ecommerce website that offers simple, elegant solutions, for Adobe InDesign – a product that many consider to be the future of desktop publishing.

Our challenge was to capture the spirit of TeacupSoftware, in a presentation that would appeal to print designers. The final design and logo stressed the simple elegance of the software, while offering a friendly, service-oriented corporate identity.

We customized the Verisign Payflow Pro payment gateway to support digital downloads, created a serial-number generator using XML, PHP, and mySQL, enabled secure transactions (SSL), and integrated client-created Java components, for added security.
